Please don't be offended if I don't personally say thank you for you favouriting my work, I'm afraid I just don't have time anymore due to Uni work increasing. I usually give out llamas so watch out for those and I'll always respond to comments :D

There are a few reserves and gravel pits in the county where they are seen quite often. I really need to arrange some trips!

In Northants, Summer Leys and Pitsford Res have them fairly often. Stanwick Lakes/gravel pits probably have had them as well. I've seen them fly over my town (Kettering) a handful of times and came across one on the stream as well, on the way to work. Also there's a pair of Great White Egrets at Pitsford right now! As recent as 2 days ago apparently. They've been around a few weeks I think.

Nice, I'll drag my dad over there too! =p Dad often has work over your way so maybe I'll tag along and I can photograph stuff while he works lol!

There's Great Egrets?! Why oh why do I have to be in Manchester when all these cool things are arriving :(

I hope so, maybe I could lure them with a fish. If they're still there at Easter when I'm home... :D

I don't get to travel very far, this was only in Ireland and that's our normal 'family' holiday destination. I've just been a bit luckier than normal in the last 3 years. It'll die down again now I'm at uni :( I do love travelling though...

Thank you very much btw :)

You're welcome :) Perhaps one day I will have the opportunity to come into a large sum of money, so that I may wander the world seemingly like a vagrant, but still having access to money, and documenting villages and countrysides, jungles, and everything in between in hopes of showing people that live in these places things that even they have not seen while living there :D I would be a cross between Steve Irwin, Indiana Jones, and Mad Max lol

I hope for that too, then I can pay for my uni education and not end up in debt when I finish...I can but dream.

If I had any spare I would definitely travel, you wouldn't see me for a good few years =p

Not sure about your cross there, Mad Max and Steve Irwin, you're deffo gonna die with that combo!!

If I ever win the lotto (I suppose I would actually have to buy a ticket to do so) I'll split it with you, though I will have to make sure not to be on the same continent as you when I travel, cause you are an awesome photographer and if we were both photographing on the same continent it would surely implode from all the awesomeness! :D

:aww: that's sweet, well then likewise, if I ever win the lotto I'll split it with you too. Haha I'm no better than you are, you're an amazing photographer too (you normally just practice a different style from me) I don't know where you got that idea from. I don't think I could make the world implode and I don't think I want to make the world implode lol!!!

I feel you are a much better photographer than me, and I can prove it :) You have had more opportunities to travel and photograph that which you Love, making you very skilled at it, and very rarely do I see someone who I think should instantly be working for National Geographic. There is so much I have not had the opportunity to explore and see and photograph, and that is my biggest fear, not documenting the unseen things in the world that are right before someone's eyes, but yet they don't see them. Also a lot of things I would sell my soul just to see let alone photograph are in your neck of the woods, my family is originally from Scotland, my great great grandparents came over in 1909 and oh how do I wish they had stayed, in hopes I would eventually have been born where I belong :)

Well thank you :) but I'm not NatGeo standard yet!! I have a long way to go before I get there =p would be an AWESOME job though. I've only been lucky in the last two years or so, before that I had to make do with the things in England which really aren't that exciting. I still have a lot to learn.

A lot of people left for America, the land of the free and all that, you can't really blame them. It was a bit shit here in the rural places around those times. Much better now though ;)
