HOLIDAY!
I'm off in Ireland this week for my dad's birthday and will be going to see the puffins again. The puffin photos went down well last time so hopefully they'll be as obliging again and I will be able to get even better ones.
Dad and I got the ferry over yesterday and on the way to Swansea we stopped at a place called Symonds Yat, a very interesting place if you're ever near by. They have some nesting Perigrine Falcons there which we did see, but they were too far away for me to photograph. They have a youngster in the cliff at the moment who should be ready to fly within the next 10 days. We should be stopping there again on the way back from Ireland next week; maybe the baby will be flying by then...
Seeing as I couldn't get a photo of the Perigrine (which was what I really wanted) I had to busy myself with the smaller birds. This was actually good as I've been trying to get some photos of those birds in my garden (with no success) for quite some time. Here is what I got:
As you can see I also got a very cute Bank Vole which I was happy about. I have a couple more photos from that day so watch this space! In the meantime, any comments on these would be very welcome.
In other news I've also jumped on the band wagon and joined 500px. You can find me under the same username: ERB20
Time for a new feature I think, here are some of my recent faves. They all have less that 50 's so give them some :

So, I've just seen that the last journal I posted was nearly four years ago , time goes so fast! Needless to say, I don't really use DeviantArt any more which is a shame because it was a platform that I loved when I was younger. Crazy to think that I signed up here over 10 years ago when I was just 15. Now I'm approaching 27 (in a matter of weeks) and am busy with full-time and freelance work. I'm finding that the older I get, the fewer social media channels I like to have and to update. If you are still interested in seeing what I get up to, I've listed where you can find me below. Some of these get updated more often than the others. Your b

Hi again,
I thought it was time to get that depressing journal off my homepage and share with you all some of the nicer things that I have been up to in the last few months.
1. The people who squashed my care have finally taken responsibility for it so I am getting my insurance excess and no-claims back, woo.
2. I've been out and about a couple of times in and around Alderley Edge to have a look at the beautiful Cheshire Plains.
3. I photographed TEDxLiverpool and got to meet some amazing people.
4. and I went to Edinburgh zoo, you may have already seen some of these photos:

Hi All,
I thought I should keep you all updated as to what's been happening here in the real-life world - it's been quite an unbelievable few months and, unfortunately not in the best way. I will explain and hopefully you will accept my apology for not replying to all your lovely comments and blogs and even group submissions.
I graduated from uni in the summer and have moved into working life now. It's all be fine and I worked through a couple of starter jobs before finding something that I really want to do and is related to my degree. In December I managed to get a job as a copywriter for a marketing firm, at the time I was working in Joh

Hey guys ,
WE FINALLY HAVE THE INTERNET! 5 months after moving in to our flat the landlords and the internets people have finally agreed that we can have real broadband. Sigh.
So anyway, that's basically the reason I've not been here much in the last 5 months, DeviantArt is too data hungry for a stupid 3G dongle. But now we have broadband I'll be back! :D
Look forward to catching up on all the deviations, journals and news that I've missed and now I'll actually be responding to your comments and uploading new work.
Much love
